Hello! I’m Leona, and I’m from Shipshewana, IN. As the youngest of 8 children, I have wonderful childhood memories of camping, playing in the hay loft, taking family trips, and sledding on our big hill in the wintertime. Growing up, I always wanted to be a teacher, or a mom. People would describe me as tenderhearted and outgoing (but shy at first), and I’ve always loved being with children.

My relationships with God and the people around me is what inspires me the most, and some of my favorite things to do are spending time with friends, reading, baking, and organizing. I love being a part of the JRM family because of the community atmosphere, and of course the children! I previously served in the Blossom Program, and am excited to return as an Auntie.
